How long does it take to get SiftHub up and running?

Most teams are live within a week. Users can sign up, connect source documents, and start generating answers within minutes. SiftHub is built for fast time-to-value.

From there, our Customer Success team runs a structured onboarding that includes account setup, connector configuration, Q&A and project setup, role-based training, and an onboarding checklist. You get weekly or biweekly check-ins and a dedicated Slack or Teams channel to reach steady-state usage fast.

Will SiftHub work with my existing knowledge base and content?

Yes. SiftHub is built to sit on top of the content and tools you already use. We connect directly to repositories like Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Confluence, Zendesk Guide, Slack, Notion, and more. You can select specific folders, spaces, pages, or channels to power answer generation.

Only content in the locations you choose is indexed, and we fully respect each system’s permission model so users only see and use content they are authorized to access.

You can also import existing Q&A libraries — including exports from legacy RFP tools, Excel, or Google Sheets — to preserve your existing knowledge base and quickly turn it into AI-ready content.

How does SiftHub stay current as our product changes?
SiftHub automatically syncs with your connected systems in near real-time, so your team never sends outdated answers to prospects. When product docs, help articles, playbooks, or Q&A content are updated in tools like Google Drive, Confluence, Highspot, Zendesk, or Slack, those changes are reflected in search and answer generation immediately.

Every AI response includes transparent citations with source and last-updated timestamps for full content freshness visibility. Admins can designate “golden answers,” set review and expiry dates, and use feedback signals (upvotes, downvotes, and flags) to keep the knowledge base accurate and prioritized around the most current content.
Is my company’s data used to train the model?
No. SiftHub does not use your data to train or fine-tune large language models. Instead, we use a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) approach: at runtime, the system retrieves the most relevant content from your repositories and passes it securely to industry-leading models from Azure OpenAI and Anthropic via AWS Bedrock, plus self-hosted models for retrieval and ranking.

Your content is used only to generate responses for your environment, not to improve or retrain the underlying LLMs. We enforce strict tenant isolation, AES-256 encryption at rest, and TLS for data in transit, so your data remains segregated and protected.

Can I control which sources SiftHub uses for responses?
Yes. SiftHub gives you fine-grained governance over exactly which sources AI can reference for client-facing content. Admins can choose which systems, folders, spaces, channels, or Q&A repositories are indexed, then segment them into Collections by product, region, or use case.

At answer time, users and teams can apply Source Filters to constrain automation to specific repositories - for example, only “Security” docs for an InfoSec questionnaire. Admins can also prioritize or deprioritize sources and tag “golden” content to steer which answers surface first. This gives SE leaders strong response governance over what AI is allowed to reference, ensuring every customer-facing answer meets your standards.
